Mule Creek Hunting with John Platt - Kansas Trophy Whitetail Deer

John Platt specializes in providing outfitter/guide services for hunting large trophy whitetail deer in Units 15 and 16 of south central Kansas. Many deer are available that are 140-class or better; 200+-class deer are taken in the area every year. John's success rate is over 90%, with deer taken generally scoring at least over 150Turkey hunting is also offered.

More than 20,000 acres are available for hunting, including 10,000 acres of river bottom. Bow, rifle, and muzzleloader permits are generally available for purchase with or without a hunt. Lodging is also available. Hunts can be semi-guided or non-guided, and all whitetail deer hunts are six days long.

2008 Season! In muzzleloader season, Jimmy John Liautaud took a gross green B&C 202 1/8 whitetail within five minutes of Scotty Finner taking a gross green B&C 235 1/8 buck. In bow season, Jason Reed took a 182" buck. While luck is always a factor, none of these shots would have been remotely possible without the dedicated management of John Platt, including generous deer feeding, the use of scouting cameras, and work to set up the hunting sites - in short, leaving no stone unturned.
